Test them with a fork before removing them, but they will bake just as they would in the regular oven, using far less electricity.
Lots of the roaster cooker recipes permit meals to be made for enormous groups of folk like at family reunions or enormous parties. To make smaller quantities you would simply reduce the amount of each ingredient and cut the cooking accordingly. For example, if the recipe is for 30 servings to cook for an hour, the food should be ready in 45 minutes. Always determine the food is cooked to safety standards before serving.

Using 8 cups of uncooked rice, add two big spoons of minced onion, dried, together with 8 cups each of chicken broth and boiling water and a half cup of butter. Pre-heat the oven, the insert pan out of the unit and when it reaches 350-degrees, replace the insert and bake for about 90-minutes with the lid on. The rice will cook up plump and mouth-watering with the flavour of the chicken broth.
