Simple Slimming Diet With Mixed Grain Cereals Recipes For All

Recipe 1: Brown Rice for Reducing Fat
The specialty of brown rice is it has very density of germ with the nutrition, vitamins, high fiber. Consuming everyday in our diet, it helps to reduce the fat and cholesterol level. It also has high zinc content, which helps in improving our skin texture and softness. 
Ingredients: Brown Rice (select those with well shaped, light brown yellowish in color, very good fragrant and smell)
Method: Soak in water for at least 1 hour. Cook as usual in rice or porridge.
Effect: Help digestion and nutrition absorption.

Recipe 2: Sorghum Rice Bun or Sorghum Based Thick Soup as Dessert
Ingredients: Sorghum powder, baking powder, white sugar, egg, sesame, and some water (portion depends on the proportion on serving)
Method: 
1. Mix all ingredients and blend with adding in water periodically until it is mixed well.
2. Take out and make into dough, flatten it and cut into little round shape.
3. Put all little round dough into steamer and steam until well done.
4. Remove the sorghum rice bun out and set aside for cool down.
5. Slightly deep fry the bun in heated pan with oil and take it up then sprinkle some sesame on top, serve.
Effect: Avoid anemia since Sorghum is really rich in iron. Easily fill up our stomach as it is rich in carbohydrate.

Recipe 3: Barley Soup
Ingredients: Barley, Chicken drumstick and tomato; water
Method:
1. Skinned chicken drumstick, raise, drain and set aside.
2. Wash and soak barley in water for about 1 hour.
3. Put all ingredients into a stewing pot, and stew for 2 hours and serve.
Effect: Barley has the effect of improving our bones, strengthen our stomach, clean up our lungs, reduce body heats, a lot of vitamin B that help to improve the skin texture and fairer, also to a lot of ladies it helps in preventing uterine cancer too.

Recipe 4: Buckwheat Noodles
Ingredients: Buckwheat noodles, mince mutton, cucumber, soy sauce, oyster sauce, a dash salt, and pepper.
Method:
1. Boil the noodles in hot water until it is done. Remove from water and soak in ice water, drain and set aside put on a plate.
2. Rinse cucumber and cut into thin slices.
3. Heat a pan with some oil and a dash of salt, some soy sauce and oyster sauce. Put in the minced mutton and slightly fry it and get it to 70 percent done.
4. Pour the minced mutton on top of the noodles and top with cucumber slices. 
5. Serve with more seasoning if needed.
Effect: Buckwheat is rich in protein, it is very good in replacing protein from meat. Not advisable to take this meal for breakfast and dinner and buckwheat noodles not easy for digestion, best serve in lunc.

Recipe 5: Eight Treasure Rice
Ingredients: Oat, black glutinous rice, long glutinous rice, brown rice, white rice, soybean, lotus seed, barley, red and green beans. Some water.
Method:
1. Soak all ingredients together in water for at least 1.5 hours to 2 hours.
2. Cook as normal rice cooking method. Serve as main dish.
Effect: Pro-long old age, prevent old age freckles, get body cell healthier, reduce cardiovascular sickness, lower cholesterol level, fill up stomach easily, so it is very idea for slimming body diet.
